Celebrating Three Years of Paws and Play: Harold’s Birthday Bash

Here at Scott Maxworthy Photography, birthdays are a big deal—especially when it’s our studio mascot and resident gentle giant, Harold, turning another year older! Harold, our beloved Great Dane, celebrated his third birthday yesterday, and of course, we couldn’t let the day pass without some proper pomp and pizzazz.

A Cupcake Fit for a Canine King

For his birthday, we decided to treat Harold to a little indulgence—a specially made dog-friendly cupcake. Now, Harold isn’t just any Great Dane; he’s a big part of our team here at the Big Dog Studio. Watching him eye that single lit candle with the kind of focus only a delicious birthday treat can inspire was a moment worth more than words.

Behind the Scenes at the Dography Photoshoot

The highlight of Harold’s day (aside from the cupcake, of course) was his birthday photoshoot. As a studio that specialises in both human and pet photography, capturing these moments gives us a unique joy. We call it “dography,” and Harold, with his majestic stature and deep, soulful eyes, is naturally a star in front of the camera.

The session was filled with fun. Imagine trying to keep a three-year-old Great Dane focused on the camera while a cupcake sits tantalizingly close! But Harold, ever the professional, posed with a patience that made our job a breeze. The result? Stunning shots that capture his personality and the sheer size that earns him the title of ‘monster pup.’

Reflections and Revelry

As we look back on the three years since Harold first trotted into our studio and into our hearts, we are reminded of the joy and liveliness he brings to our daily work life. It’s not just about the photos, but the memories we create with each click of the camera.

For those who follow our journey here in Sans Souci, you know that Harold isn’t just a pet; he’s a vital part of the community—a true mascot of Big Dog Studio. Whether he’s lounging around on a quiet day or greeting clients with his goofy grin, Harold has become as much a part of our brand as the cameras we shoot with.

Thanks for Joining the Celebration

To all our followers and fellow dog lovers, thank you for your warm wishes and for celebrating with us. Every like, comment, and share not only brightens our feed but also reinforces the bond we share over our love for photography and, of course, for dogs like Harold.

Stay tuned for more adventures from Harold and the rest of our team. Until then, keep those tails wagging and cameras clicking!
