About the Michael Tynan Challenge
The Michael Tynan Challenge (MTC) is an annual charity event organized by Tynan Motors that raises money for vital medical research. In 2016, Madeline Tynan launched the MTC and raised $520,000 for St George & Sutherland Medical Research Foundation. Since then, the MTC has expanded its reach to support the University of Wollongong Medical Research in the Illawarra and Australian Nuclear Science and Technology (ANSTO) in their medical research, helping to raise over $1,500,000 for local medical research.
Ways to get Involved
The event brings together local rugby league teams and businesses, including the Cronulla Sharks and St George Dragons, for a fun-filled day of activities. In the past years, the MTC offered multiple ways to get involved, whether by registering for one of the events, donating to a friend, or lending a helping hand as a volunteer.
